In the 18th century, coffee was already a popular drink for its peculiar characteristics. Since then this product has become popular and the first coffee shops in Italy are opened. In the year 1720 the first cafeteria in Venice was inaugurated; in 1784 there were more than 200 coffee shops in the city where the production of this drink was perfected: coffee had become a quality drink. “Caffè 1784 Italian Passion” also wants to be an acknowledgment for what this historical period has meant. Reason and science in the wake of the Enlightenment, almost as if coffee has been seen as a dynamic element that supports the development of human skills, and which will then become an integral element of daily life.
